ASSOCIATE

Julia initially joined the KBA Partners LLP team as an articling student in August 2023, and on being called to the bar in 2024 she became an associate with the firm. She represents and advises corporate and individual clients with respect to workplace and career-related law. 

She graduated with a J.D. from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. While at the University of Ottawa, she participated in the Allies in Law Mentorship Program as a member of the executive team and as a mentor where she actively engaged with first-year students to support them as they transitioned into law school. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. Throughout law school, Julia was a writing leader for the University of Ottawa Legal Writing Academy.

Julia has always aspired to pursue a career in law. Prior to law school, Julia completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from York University and obtained a Professional Certificate in Public Administration and Law.

Julia is currently a volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario, advising clients with respect to their rights and responsibilities in employment law.
